The environment is a current and pressing global issue that affects and connects us all. Through the process of constructing a sustainable building, a building made from recycled materials that will operate on solar energy and recycled rain water, both the teens and the community will learn to take care of the world we all share.
Over the course of a month or more the teens will not only see the building progress, but more importantly will understand the positive impact individuals can make when they work together towards a common goal.
When completed, the permanent structure will be donated to the community. Meanwhile, the modular camp will be taken down, relocated and the building process will start anew. |  |
